... if it is St. Patty's Day. It's still not cool to show up drunk and barefoot to class because you were at Keggs and Eggs. I mean it's grad school ... at least scrounge around for some flip flops before stumbling to class.
Seriously? I think I would have ditched class - then I could at least come up with a semi descent excuse- but when drunk . . . good decisions are always made. = )
Definitely not cool! My PhD programme has very few lectures but I'm constantly amazed at the number of students who waltz in 15 mintues late....we're not first year undergrads!
